| Opplysninger | Har bibliografi. - Sammendrag: In this report, we summarize and conclude on which automatic snow water equivalent sensor to recommend under different conditions and at different locations. All three types of sensors that we analysed has limitations either according to a maximum level of recorded snow water equivalent, climatic challenges or instrumentational challenges. The gamma attenuation sensor is suitable for measuring snow water equivalent in maritime climate with frequent freezing and thawing cycles during winter, as well as alpine climate. However, the gamma attenuation sensor also have some limitations, mainly due to the limited measuring range
