| Opplysninger | Philippe Van Leeuw writes and directs this Arabic drama starring Hiam Abbass as a mother trying to protect her family in their barricaded apartment in war-torn Damascus. Determined not to be forced out of her home, matriarch Oum Yazan (Abbass) tries to keep her extended family and neighbours safe while war continues to rage right outside their windows. However, with deadly bombs constantly being dropped and snipers watching over the streets, those sheltering in Oum's apartment live in a constant state of fear and it's not long before threats from the outside world finally arrive at their door.
