Opplysninger
From preface : "The challenge for Mali’s agriculture is to have the capacity to ensure the food and nutritional security of the Malian population, which would guarantee social peace and sustainable development in a context of climate change. Indeed, agricultural production from predominantly family farms remains mostly rainfed. As a result, it is highly dependent on the climate risks caused by global warming, including rising temperatures, lower atmospheric rainfall, delayed rainfall at the beginning of the growing season, pockets of drought, early cessation of rains, strong winds and floods. The adaptation of producers to climate risks is a strategy to cope with this major development constraint. "
