| "P.V. Lintur died in 1969 and did not live to see the publication of his Ukrainische Volksmärchen. The final draft of Lintur's manuscript was prepared by L.H. Barah [a Belorusian folklorist] and is likely to have been written in Russian. The translation of this manuscript into German was made by H.J. Grimm"--A survey of Ukrainian folk tales.
