End Records housed a number of bands and artists in New York City across pop, R&B, doowoop and blues, that would be instrumental in the rapidly changing lanscape, including The Flamingos, The Chantels and Little Richard. New Yorker Goldner was a musical sponge, and had a hand in a number of different labels throughout the late Forties and early Fifties, spanning Latin American music and urban blues. He founded End Records in 1957, along with a subsidiary label, Gone." (Kilde sleeve notes by Drew Heatley).
