| Remi has dedicated his heart and passion to an intoxicating style of music: Salsa. His dream is to join a salsa troupe. So he tries to get hired as a salsa dance teacher in the run-down club "Casa Cubana". Better said than done. He only earns scorn and ridicule in the salsa scene. But Remi doesn't give in easily. He invents a new identity for himself, which includes intensive visits to the tanning salon and hairdresser, a heavy accent, new clothes and a new name: Ramon aka "Mongo". One day the beautiful Natalie comes to the dance school. Unfortunately, Natalie is already taken and her fiancé wouldn't even dream of letting his wife-to-be cheat him...
