| Mark Elstob. - This biography tells the story of the man who was voted 'Britain's Greatest General': Bill Slim, or as he was was affectionately known to the troops: 'Uncle Bill'. He participated in both World Wars, and was probably the most respected and loved military leader since the Duke of Marlborough.
