It is important to point out that we MUST NOT place children in .boxes" and tell them .this is the way you are", as this may hinder their progress instead of promoting it. Using the Enneagram as a starting point, we have a .tool kit" that we can use as an educational approach to children when they are displaying different behavioral types at a given moment, which helps us adults help and understand children who are experiencing difficult and challenging situations. The Enneagram teaches us about both ourselves and the people around us; this learning tool is important for us to have know and understand as educators, consultants and not least as parents. This is a book intended for parents, legal guardians, educators and caregivers, or quite simply anyone who comes in contact with children on a daily basis, dealing with and stimulating their unique traits, emotions and expressions.
