Tannahill's version first appeared in print in 1742, and is about the hills (braes) around Balquhidder. Like Burns, Tannahill collected and adapted traditional songs, and "The Braes of Balquhither" may have been based on the traditional song "The Braes o' Bowhether". - Side 2. - Edisjonsnummer: N.M.O. 14345. - For solostemme, mannskor (TTB) og akkompagnement med besifring. - Forord og kommentar på engelsk
