| Opplysninger | The physical health disparities facing people living with mental health conditions are extremely well known. Records of this disparity for people living with schizophrenia date back to the 17th century. Estimates of premature mortality range from 10 to 20 years in developed countries. Despite both awareness of and efforts to close this gap, it continues to widen, illustrating the inequity facing people living with mental health conditions who have not benefitted equally from improvements in population health.
