Opplysninger
Guided by world-renowned Argentinian palaeontologist Prof Rodolfo Coria, we visit the sites of some major discoveries in Patagonia, and travel back in time to see dinosaurs come to life. Patagonia was home to the largest animal ever to have walked the Earth: the titanesque plant-eating Argentinosaur. Its nemesis, the Giganotosaur, was a bipedal carnivore that could easily have challenged the famous T-Rex. Deeply rooted in science, the film carries the audience through the lives of these magnificent beasts. The action is intense and the landscape out of this world. Watch in awe as the camera takes us into space to witness the movement of tectonic plates, and the arrival of a comet that will seal the fate of the dinosaurs. As the movie leaves our Patagonian giants behind, and jumps forward to the end of this extreme chapter of Earth's history, we learn that although most species of their evolutionary branch have disappeared, the dinosaurs' descendents are still with us today. You can see them easily. They sometimes perch on your garden fence. You may well have eaten quite a few of them. They are birds.. - Produksjonsår: 2007. - Tillatt for alle
